We promised an ever-evolving Smoothie Library since our first Smoothie Operator recipe drop, so here are our healthiest, nuttiest new chocolate concoctions yet. If you grew up loving Nutella spreads and/or eating Almond Joy, these are for you!
NUTELLA (HAZELNUT SPREAD) SMOOTHIE
- 1 cup unsweetened nut milk/ regular or chocolate flavored
- 1 serving chocolate protein powder
- 1 cup ice
- 1 tbsp unsweetened Cacao Powder
- 1-2 tbsp Hazelnut butter (please look for one with NO added sugar or oils)
- 1-2 tbsp psyllium husk powder (depending on how thick you want the smoothie)
- ¼ cup frozen cauliflower OR ½ frozen banana (again, will affect thickness – cauliflower makes it lower carb, banana adds carb count and naturally sweetens)
- Stevia to taste
- Blend
- Top with Cacao Nibs and enjoy!
ALMOND JOY SMOOTHIE
- 1 cup unsweetened almond/ coconut milk
- 1 serving chocolate protein powder
- 1 cup ice
- 1 tbsp unsweetened Cacao Powder
- 1 tbsp unsweetened, shredded coconut
- 1-2 tbsp almond butter (please look for one with NO added sugar or oils)
- 1-2 tbsp psyllium husk powder (depending on how thick you want the smoothie)
- ¼ cup frozen cauliflower OR ½ frozen banana (again, will affect thickness – cauliflower makes it lower carb, banana adds carb count and naturally sweetens)
- Stevia to taste
- Blend
- Top with Cacao Nibs and sprinkle some shredded unsweetened coconut/ coconut chips and enjoy!
